Paper Company (formerly Federal Paper Board) in Riegelwood, NC. Projects included the worlds largest Lime
Mud Dryer Kiln and Caustic Area. Project
responsibilities included review and approval of design drawings and
coordinating field activities. These
included safety inspections, mechanical and process piping tie-ins and
resolving construction issues. Trained in Process Safety Management. Project size: $255,000.

On-site at Federal Paper
Board Company in Riegelwood, NC. Field
design supervisor on paper machine rebuild project No. 18 and 15, including
extensive wet end and dry end revisions.
On-site liaison during entire project.

assignments at Federal Paper Board:
Provided design and field
engineering to revise and install new lime kiln scrubber system to existing
three lime kilns, assisted in start-up and testing.
Lime Kiln Rebuild of No. 2
and No. 3 Kilns. Project included
re-bricking of both kilns and reworking of ties and rolls. Also assisted on start-up and testing on both
kilns.

included installation and start-up of all equipment.

Wilmington, NC
Design and field engineering
support in the modification of a stream jet air ejector/hydrogen recombiner
system for a BWR nuclear power generating plant.
General Mechanical Superintendent Yeargin Construction

Maintained position of
general foreman with 207 employees, and supervised eight foreman. Responsibilities included general planning,
work layout of materials, and security clearances. Specific work details: coordinating work with
engineers, keeping engineers informed of progress and problems in handling
work, and materials controls.
